Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

Your personal data is retained on servers located in Roubaix (59100), OVH DC2.

We will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary in consideration of the purpose for which you have provided it. Information automatically collected using cookies will only be retained for a maximum two-year period.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

What third parties we receive data from

We do not receive data from any third party. All our logins are made on an email/password combination and are not linked to any social network.

When requesting a conversation, Duo, with another member of our community. Our algorithm automatically matches you randomly with someone speaking the same language and in a nearby timezone.

If you asked to be matched within a group, then the group information is also taken into account.
